A kiosk has to work hard in a small space. Karmod retail and food-service kiosks are insulated cabins for forecourts, high streets and events, from a 1.50 m × 2.15 m GRP kiosk up to 3.00 m × 7.00 m portable cabins where a fuller kitchen fit-out is needed.

Kiosk sizes and prices

Prices are per cabin, ex VAT and ex delivery. Electrical packs, heaters and kitchen units are priced as options.

Choosing a kiosk

• Coffee or ice cream: 1.50 m × 2.15 m is a compact start for one or two people.
• Hot food or bakery: 1.50 m × 2.70 m or 2.15 m × 2.70 m for prep space and storage.
• Full kitchen: a 2.30 m × 6.00 m portable cabin with the five-piece 180 cm kitchen unit (£1,475 + VAT).

Made to be adapted

Serving counters, hatches and catering equipment depend on what you sell. Tell us your plans when you request a quote and we will confirm what we can supply. Before you trade, register your food business with your local council and check gas, extraction and water requirements with your environmental health officer.

Insulated and ready to site

The GRP shell holds up against sun, rain and wind and insulates the inside in both summer and winter. The cabin arrives ready to be sited, and can be lifted by forklift or crane when you move pitches.

Karmod GRP kiosks start from £4,490 + VAT for a 1.50 m × 2.15 m cabin. Options such as an electrical pack and heater are priced separately, as is delivery. Fit-out for your trade equipment depends on your project.

What size kiosk do I need for food?

A 1.50 m × 2.15 m kiosk suits coffee or ice cream. Hot food or bakery sales usually need 1.50 m × 2.70 m or 2.15 m × 2.70 m. For a full kitchen, use a 2.30 m × 6.00 m portable cabin with a kitchen unit.

Can a Karmod kiosk be used for food and drink sales?

Karmod supplies the insulated cabin. Counters, equipment and approvals depend on what you sell, so tell us your plans when you request a quote.

Do I need planning permission for a kiosk?

It depends on the location, how long the kiosk stays and your local planning authority. Check with your council before ordering.

Can a kiosk be moved to a new pitch?

Yes. Cabins are lifted by forklift or crane and can be re-sited.

Do you sell kiosks as a going business?

No. Karmod supplies kiosk cabins only, not trading businesses.
